A drink spot for a mobile DJ setup
Plan the drink location during load-in, then check it again after cables, equipment and people are in place.

Include it in the layout
Mobile setups change from room to room. Identify a stable drink location away from equipment when you agree the booth position, rather than filling the only gap left after soundcheck. Ask the venue where staff and guests will pass, and follow its rules about drinks and glassware. Keep access routes clear. A separate table may solve the problem better than making space on the controller table.
Check the furniture after setup
Once the cables and equipment are in place, check the intended drink surface again. It must be level and stable, with the holder’s entire 5.2-inch base supported. Avoid flight-case latches, raised seams and loose fabric that prevents a flat stance. Do not put the drink on equipment or above power connections. If the surface moves when people pass, relocate the drink instead of relying on Steadi to compensate.
Keep the plan clear during the event
Give helpers and venue staff a simple description of where drinks belong. The DJ’s separate water spot is not necessarily an appropriate guest-drink collection area. If guests tend to approach one side for requests, avoid placing your drink in that traffic. Recheck the layout when a microphone, extra laptop or second performer is added; the previously clear space may no longer be clear.
Pack down and care
Remove the drink before moving furniture or packing gear. Steadi is not a transport restraint. Hand wash the holder and let it dry before packing it with other items; do not put it in a dishwasher or microwave. Inspect it and the container fit before the next use. A matching Steadi color can help people identify their own holder, but does not replace labeling or a clear placement plan.
